1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Maison Equine website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Maison Equine provides custom automotive artwork services, including but not limited to:

Digital artwork creation based on customer-provided photographs
Premium giclée prints on archival paper
Hand-painted oil paintings on canvas
Professional framing services
Worldwide shipping and delivery

3. Ordering and Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance by Maison Equine. Payment is required in full at the time of order placement. We accept major credit cards and process payments securely through Stripe.

Prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are calculated separately based on destination and artwork size.

4. Artwork Creation Process

Upon order confirmation, our artists will create your custom artwork. Production times vary depending on the medium selected:

Premium prints: 5-10 business days
Oil paintings: 3-12 weeks depending on size

Once your artwork is complete, you will receive a digital preview for approval. Each commission includes up to two rounds of minor revisions at no additional cost.

Preview Review Period

You have 10 business days from receipt of your preview to review the artwork and request any amendments. This is known as the "amendment window."

If we do not receive a response within 10 business days, we will consider the artwork approved and proceed with printing/production and shipping. This ensures timely delivery and prevents indefinite delays.

Amendment Guidelines

Revision requests must be for minor adjustments only (e.g., colour corrections, small detail changes). Major redesigns or complete style changes are not included and may require an additional commission.

5. Intellectual Property

By submitting photographs for your commission, you confirm that you have the right to use these images and grant Maison Equine permission to create artwork based on them.

Upon full payment, you receive a personal, non-commercial licence to display your commissioned artwork. Maison Equine retains copyright and may use the artwork for portfolio and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Delivery and Shipping

Estimated delivery times are provided at the time of order but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to production requirements, shipping conditions, or customs processing for international orders. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

7. Returns and Refunds

As each artwork is custom-created, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, if your artwork arrives damaged or is materially different from the approved preview, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We will work with you to resolve any issues, which may include repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maison Equine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for your order.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
